Lara Croft wins Guinness World Record Awards
The official Lara Croft models has won the Tomb Raider series a place in the Guinness World Records Award 2010 for the highest number of people officially portraying a video game character. Over the past 13 years there has been 10 different models portraying the action adventurer. It started with Rhona Mitra in 1997. Rhona has since starred in several films and television production, she was later fired from Eidos although a reason wasn't released from Eidos. Following after her was: Nell McAndrew, Lara Weller, Lucy Clarkson, Jill Je Jong, Karima Adebibe, and the latest being gymnast; Alison Carroll. Also portraying Lara was Vannessa Demouy and Ellen Rouche who took part in advertisments for the extension packs for Tomb Raider 2 and Tomb Raider 3. Angelina Jolie played the role in both Tomb Raider films.
